If multi-table grinding is your objective then go for it. StarsHelper: Another product in the same category is TableNinja II - these programs are designed to make it much easier to grind many tables at once - there's a forum on 2+2 for TN II you should go look at it. I also believe that this is one of a handful of programs that introduced the Odlanor cheating malware to computers last year - you may want to research if that's true & have a think about it. It doesn't enable you to analyse players either as far as I'm aware. On PokerStars you can't use voice commands nor can it give you advice on how to play your hands. I'm thinking about Poker Pro Labs "Poker Calculator Pro" or "Starshelper" Poker Calculator Pro: Some of the key features are disabled on PokerStars to comply with their ToS. NB the lists are not exhaustive, they are just examples of what's permitted, what's permitted in a limited way & what's prohibited: In fact there's a similar tool called "Texas Calculatem" which falls into category b. This is because it gives advice on the current game state that goes beyond reporting data and statistics. on their list of "tools and services which are prohibited while PokerStars is running". the PokerStars Prohibited Tools & Software list or If it really could do what it claims it would today be on either Some, most or all versions available all over the net WILL contain malware or it would not be so widespread The software isn't maintained so it doesn't work well these days For one thing it seems to not give good advice: Here is an 8 year old thread about the product & it's clear that people aren't impressed. It came out around 10-12 years ago & it was selling back then for $100 for one years' licence - fools & their money! I've found out more since I last posted here:Ĭalulatem Pro doesn't just give pot odds & % chances of making various types of hands, it also gives advice on what actions the Hero should take for LHE games where the decision tree is vastly smaller than NLHE. I'm a beginning poker player free Texas Holdem & small tourneys on PokerStars The link I had for "Texas Calculatem Pro" is here:, however, I can't find where to get Calculatem Pro. Then I wanted to see if anyone has used Poker Calculator Pro ( ) and Starshelper ( ) and ask their input.Īny input from players who have used these programs or others that are reputable is much appreciated. I'm thinking about Poker Pro Labs "Poker Calculator Pro" or "Starhelper" but before I do I wanted to be certain that Calculatem Pro was either a scam or out of business, because I really like what it offers. I have read on HM2 and PT4 but these seem to just track my own hands and compile a history. And their support email comes back as mailerdaemon so that isn't a good sign. However, I can't find where to get Calculatem Pro, when you scroll the website it has other software for sale. The link I had for "Texas Calculatem Pro" is here: I have been playing free Texas Holdem and small tourney's on PokerStars, but want to up my game and learn more. Here's answers to your questions and a couple more questions. Once you have your 'outs' it's easy as pie to calculate the pot odds mentally It will hold you back getting the mental muscle to do this yourself unaided. Pot odds & number of 'outs': You are always better figuring your outs in your head. High risk of catching something nasty if you download from wrong location I expect Therefore I think it would be a mistake to download this unless you're absolutely sure it's 'clean'. For example you don't find legit copies of HM2, PT4 etc outside the developers site. That would worry me because most of the good poker s/ware is only available at the developers site. What site are you thinking of downloading from? How much is it? Do they offer a support? There are a lot of software sites offering this product. Calculatem Pro: I looked at this product years ago & decided "no". I came across a poker odds calculator called "Calculatem Pro" and after reading and trying to find more information is seems outdated or a scam?.I read on some HUD managers and Hand trackers, but I want a program that shows pot odds live during the game
